To extend the life of your running shoes, ensure they are fully dried between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean them to maintain upper flexibility and durability.

Washing:
For best results, hand wash your shoes as soon as possible after your run.

• Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces

• Brush off dried mud with a soft brush

• Rinse under cold running water, removing any remaining dirt or debris (an old toothbrush works well)

Drying:
Place the shoes in a warm room, airing cupboard or outdoors (but not in direct sunlight). Do not dry in a tumble dryer or near radiators, fireplaces or strong summer sun.
Drying can be sped up by removing the insoles and laces and stuffing the shoes with newspaper.
Ensure shoes are completely dry before wearing again.

Reproofing:
As with all water-repellent materials, effectiveness reduces over time. To maintain protection, periodically treat the shoes with a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
