Product Care

To extend the life of your running shoes, make sure they are completely dried between training sessions. When dirty or muddy, clean the shoes to preserve the flexibility of the upper and its resistance to wear.

Washing:

• Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.

• Brush off dried mud with a soft brush.

• Rinse the shoes under cold running water, removing any remaining dirt or debris (an old toothbrush works well for this).

Drying:

Place the shoes in a warm room, in a ventilated cupboard, or outside in the shade. Avoid drying in a dryer or near radiators, fireplaces, or strong summer sunlight.

Speed up the drying by removing the insole and laces and stuffing the shoes with newspaper. Ensure they are completely dry before wearing again.

Re-waterproofing:

As with all water-repellent materials, the coating on the shoes will gradually lose effectiveness. To maintain it, periodically treat them with a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
