Product Care
To extend the life of your running shoes, ensure they are completely dry between workouts. When dirty or muddy, clean them to maintain upper flexibility and durability.
Washing:
Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces.
Brush off dried mud with a soft brush.
Rinse under cold running water, removing any remaining dirt (an old toothbrush works well for detailed areas).
Drying:
Dry in a warm, ventilated room or outside (but not in direct sunlight).
Do not use a dryer, radiator, fireplace, or hot summer sun.
To speed up drying, remove insoles and laces and stuff the shoes with newspaper.
Ensure the shoes are completely dry before wearing again.
Re-waterproofing:
Like all water-repellent materials, the waterproofing gradually loses effectiveness over time. To maintain it, periodically treat the shoes with Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
