Product Care
To extend the life of your running shoes, make sure they are completely dry between runs. When dirty or muddy, clean your shoes to preserve the flexibility and durability of the upper.
Washing
For best results, hand wash your shoes as soon as possible after your run:
Remove the insoles and loosen or remove the laces
Brush off dried mud with a soft brush
Rinse under cold running water, removing all remaining dirt (an old toothbrush works well)
Drying
Place your shoes in a warm room, airing cupboard, or outdoors (but not in direct sunlight). Do not dry in a tumble dryer or near radiators, fireplaces, or strong summer sun.
You can speed up drying by removing the insoles and laces and stuffing the shoes with newspaper.
Make sure the shoes are completely dry before wearing them again.
Re-waterproofing
Like all water-repellent materials, the water resistance of the shoes will gradually decrease over time. To maintain performance, we recommend treating them periodically with a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus.
