Product care
To extend the life of running shoes, ensure they are fully dried between sessions. When dirty or muddy, clean them to maintain the flexibility and durability of the upper.
Washing
For best results, hand wash as soon as possible after use:
Remove insoles and loosen or remove the laces
Brush off dried mud with a soft brush
Rinse under cold running water, removing remaining dirt and debris (an old toothbrush works well for this)
Drying
Place the shoes in a warm room, airing cupboard, or outdoors (avoid direct sunlight) to dry. Do not dry in a tumble dryer or near radiators, fires, or strong heat.
Drying can be accelerated by removing the insoles and laces and stuffing the shoes with newspaper.
Ensure the shoes are completely dry before next use.
Reproofing
Like all water-repellent materials, the shoe’s water resistance will decrease over time. To maintain performance, periodic treatment with a product such as Grangers® Footwear Repel Plus is recommended.
